Annual Technical Support

Software

MG Technologies provides various batch and online utilities to annual support clients. Most companies find these utilities invaluable for diagnosing performance and other problems such as application deadlocks. There are three categories of software:

Batch

*	Receive some of our batch utilities at no charge. The utilities vary depending on the operating system. For instance, VSE/ESA users are provided with accounting reports that analyze batch execution and printing. Z/OS users are provided utilities unique to Z/OS.
+	Our universal translators are available at a discount. They may be used to translate COBOL or COBOL II to COBOL Z/OS, or COBOL/VSE. We can also provide other types of translations.

CICS

*	Receive our CICS system monitors at no charge. Some of them provide functions that are not available in commercial products. See the CICS Software attachment for a brief description of the programs as well as screen samples.
+	We will provide our CICS FrameWare product at a discount. This is an application development tool that allows programmers to easily provide users with ten sessions, E-mail, fast path and other useful functions. It also drastically reduces development time and improves system reliability.

PC Based

+	Provide book library management tools. We would install our Publication Management System on your PC or Macintosh computers. This system can be used by all of your company's departments.
+	Provide PC or Macintosh application to track and report programming, hardware or operation problems.

Other

*	New or updated utilities are released about 4 times a year. You can also request a special utility, if we find it useful to other clients we may develop it at no charge.

Items marked with a "+" indicate an extended service and are included are part of an extended service contract. Some "plus" items can be purchased separately.
